Hey everyone!
I am going to be posting more about crafts and baking since they are hobbies I enjoy and I feel my tumblr is pretty impersonal. So be prepared for more crafty posts in the near future. Especially in mid February, I will be talking about my homestuck meetup baked good of choice: the s’more cookie.
Anyways, today’s recipe is Cinnamon Bun Cupcakes!
They consist of a cinnamon cupcake and cream cheese frosting with a cinnamon cream cheese frosting swirl on top. I followed the recipe exactly and they turned out delicious. It really does taste like a cinnamon bun. For applying the frosting I just used a plastic bag with a corner snipped off. I probably should have used a fancy tip for the cinnamon swirls, but I wanted to get some practice in at free-handing. Either way, they turned out perfectly tasty.
Suggestions: If you want to use a bag for frosting, you should use a quart or gallon freezer bag. I tried to use a regular sandwich bag and it kept trying to explode out the seams and the top of the bag.
My oven cooks things faster than other ovens, so my cupcakes were completely cooked through at 18 minutes instead of the normal 21 min. It can happen really fast because at 15 minutes they were liquid inside and three minutes later they were fully cooked. I always check early and with a tooth pick (or a thin tined fork) to see if they are done.
The only thing you might want to modify for the recipe is the amount of frosting it makes. I ended up with way more frosting than cupcakes. If you like extreme mountains of frosting this is probably the right amount of cream cheese frosting. You probably don’t want that much cinnamon unless you like large amounts of really intense cinnamon flavor.
If you want to quickly make a cupcake warm and make the frosting a bit melty, just pop it into the microwave. My microwave made a nice soft melty frosting at 10 seconds. If you cook it for too long, the frosting slides off and makes a goopy pile you can dip the cake part in.

In 1971, a fossil was found that captured a Velociraptor mongoliensis clutched around a Protoceratops andrewsi in Mongolia. It is believed that they died simultaneously, while fighting, when they were either surprised by a sand storm or buried when a sand dune collapsed on top of them.
The large eyes of Protoceratops has been suggested as evidence for a nocturnal lifestyle. However, subsequent comparisons between the scleral rings of Protoceratops and modern birds and reptiles have indicated a more cathemeral lifestyle, being active throughout the day during short intervals. This suggests that the fight between Protoceratops and the primarily nocturnal Velociraptor indicated by the fighting specimens may have occurred at twilight or under low-light conditions.

So, as I promised, here it is! I speculated a little with Kai, and now I have my plan, my rules, etc.
So, first things first; what even is on offer? Well! I have shedloads of white fleece left over from various projects, and things, and I had a ton of fun making Kiwi and Ruby’s Christmas gifts. They will not have button eyes (im running low on those) and they will probably be a little smaller. However, the will be perfectly cuddleable, perfect for enhancing a troll cosplay! Oh, there is one more thing…I managed to get my hands on a squeaker from one of my dog’s toys. Not the most glamourous of sources, but he took the toy apart in seconds, and I managed to rescue it in time. So, the first place winner will also get to choose which Lusus will have a squeaker inside of him. Imagine that; a mini-Crabdad of your own, squeaking and skreeing away! There are also additional prizes;
